Research Activity

The research deals with natural products of medicinal value and cardiac health, particularly studies on synergistic action at target sites between several kinds of polyphenols. Our group investigates the effect of diet and dietary supplements on models of chronic cardiovascular disease. In addition, we are examining the impact of complex phytochemicals on inflammation and oxidative stress.
